I was in a Waterstone's bookshop today - Christmas shopping- what else.
This one has a huge Music section and there were certainly some beauties. Sumptuous, coffee table breakers,of Floyd,Zeppelin etc and a new one about Kate Bush, all with stunning photographs. And not only of the mega groups/musicians either. I couldn't help thinking that Ian's missing a trick here. These books not only appeal to original fans like ourselves but to younger people who are researching, or listening to bands or musicians from different genres. It was mostly young people who were leafing through them when I was there.

Problem with the publishing of the book was the lack of any marketing as far as the general public were concerned but it can be obtained, at a cost, from Amazon or ebay. www.amazon.com/Jethro-Tull-Photographs-English-German/dp/3896024620/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1513585242&sr=1-1&keywords=didi+zill+jethro+tull

Is it in the 'sumptious' category with lots of great photographs? If it is then it should be in Waterstone's (or the like) Music Section.

Only a very few Tull sites back in 2003 were in existence and apart from Laufi's sites, A New Day Magazine, TalkTull etc etc few would have published any details. I hope that at some stage there's a soft cover reprint - if there is we'll certainly publish the details here. Any further details and history of Didi's book is always welcome here and when I get a moment I'll start a thread about the book and move these current posts to it.
