I found this photo on the internet with a tag saying 'New York 1978'. Anyone out there got some more info on this picture?

From the North American tour October-November 1978, with Tony Williams on bass. I'm guessing it's the sax solo from 'Too Old to Rock 'n' Roll'.
If it's NY then it'll be from a Madison Square Garden show, 8-11 October.

This photo looks like from Carl Dunn, although I could not prove this accreditation. If anyone has more information would be appreciated

I didn't know David Palmer played sax and I certainly didn't know he ever played live with Tull. Anyone know if this was a unique occasion ? I was hoping they were playing part of APP.

He really did want to be a policeman, didn't he ? Police arrested two kids yesterday, one was drinking battery acid, the other was eating fireworks. They charged one and let the other one off. Tommy Cooper

That Ian/Cornick shot is really cool...I'm guessing late 70, early 71 based on Ian's hair. When exactly did Jeffrey take over ? This picture may be from the last USA tour that G.C. was on...I bet he'd know...if work is easy today I'll look through his website for similar pics and dates.
