"At the end of Ian Anderson´s performance of Bourée at Zitadelle Petersbergin Erfurt, Germany on July 30th 2016, a security guard walks in front of the stage and ruins the artistic mood. WE AGREE WITH YOU IAN! He deserved it..."
Over the years Ian has had moments of difficulty in many ways but this seems more than appropriate. When you give a performance and ushers or security folks get in the way it can be annoying. You could not hear what was said so it becomes more speculation or rumour.
There are other incidents that Ian has crossed a line with his temper, but he isn't perfect all the time. I feel that his good moments will always outweigh his bad ones... He tries so hard to be his best.

The video as is, doesn't show enough, because it looks like nothing's out of order. The security guard walks across, at ground level, after the song is over. What's the problem? It's a concert. There are dozens of security people moving all over the place keeping the barbarians, Frisbee players, alcoholics, trapeze artists, nudies, poltergeists, mythological characters and fisticuff instigators away from causing problems near the stage. Obviously the videographer was not a journalist and needs retraining. I call two infractions; and give a 2-minute penalty for over-dramatization to the videographer and another to Ian Anderson, because hey, it's FREE PENALTY DAY while the NHL playoffs are on. Nobody gets clear of this mess.

Actually, when I saw the post, I was expecting a bigger tantrum....a bit of embarrassment via mime probably won't kill the guy.
