What the man needs to have a good time at a concert? Something cold to quench thirst,
a beautiful environment and a band that really keeps playing in front of the audience!
On Monday evening concert of Jethro Tull has managed to give us all the necessary ingredients ...
The concert took place in a very beautiful scene of Terra Vibe. Many people, some sitting quietly
in chairs, others standing, squeezed behind the railings, patiently waited for the start.
People of all ages, from middle wearing shirts from an earlier tour of the complex, to adolescents
and children with their parents standing in the canteen queue or loiter in small information stands.
The British rockers but not delayed in their meeting with the Greek public.
Shortly after 9.30 the scene filled colors and melodies of the flute of Ian Anderson.
The evening began with "Nothing Is Easy" and "Beggar's Farm". The Anderson, jovial, welcomed the
world and the tone of the concert. Their purpose was to travel audiences favorite songs of their discography.
Communicative, sarcastic and full of energy, evergreen frontman continuously interact with viewers.
After "Life Is A Long Song" commented the change that has brought the technology to the art of
photography.... In "Serenade to a Cuckoo" did not forget to mention the name of Rahsaan Roland Kirk,
the great tzazista 60s and 70s in which the song belongs.
Also the absence of guitarist Martin Barre. Barre was forced to go to the hospital after injury. So, his
place taken by German Florian Opahle. "This is the second time in just two months to help you Germany!"
He commented, causing the laughter of the public and the embarrassment of the young.
Our group traveled in past years English melodies with "Bourée". He recounted the unfortunate story
of the hare that inspired "The Hare In The Wine Cup". In "A Change of Horses", Ian Anderson reported
in Anoushka Shankar and combining Indian and Celtic elements in the song.
Rates rose in "Cross-Eyed Mary", "Farm on the Freeway" and "Dharma For One".
"My God" and "our Aqualung" reminded of how one can impress with an electric guitar. The concert
ended,as expected, the "Locomotive Breath", causing the enthusiasm of the public. The Jethro Tull left
having received the applause that befits groups with respect to their world and their history.
In general, the night seemed to be divided into two parts.
The first part included melodic songs that moved to more low tones.
They provided a good introduction, since there was not support in the beginning to warm up the audience.
In the second part of the band he had now found his rhythm, guitars and rhythms came climbed.
Favorite songs, combined with the excellent performance of music, the right lighting and the
beautiful landscape with trees and moon hangs over the scene, helped create a great atmosphere.
The concert flowed like a well-oiled machine, with the band performs the songs professionally,
but without forgetting the fans. The end of the evening found the people to leave the Malakasa
perhaps with nostalgia, but Chortasmenos melodies ...
