I'd love a new hat this year! This looks very close to the hat I got during "Rubbing Elbows" in 2003. The color is blue with red trim which should go with most things I wear. Toboggans don't work after Spring.

The tie on the right should be a hit among Satan worshippers... Rock 'N' Roll!"!! I believe Ian Anderson said the reason for this design was a statue in his yard back then. Of course American record stores were afraid it would be too graphic for all us little TULL Fans to see.

toursnlodging.com/holiday/jethro-tull-kyiv/JETHRO TULL & KYIV CITY BREAKJethro Tull are a British rock group, formed in Luton, Bedfordshire, in December 1967. Initially playing blues rock, the band soon developed its sound to incorporate elements of British folk music and hard rock to forge a progressive rock signature. The band was led by vocalist/flutist/guitarist Ian Anderson, and included other significant members such as guitarist Martin Barre, keyboardist John Evan, drummers Clive Bunker, Barriemore Barlow, and Doane Perry, and bassists Glenn Cornick, Jeffrey Hammond, and Dave Pegg. The group first achieved commercial success in 1969, with the folk-tinged blues album Stand Up, which reached No. 1 in the UK charts, and they toured regularly in the UK and the US. Their musical style shifted in the direction of progressive rock with the albums Aqualung (1971), Thick as a Brick (1972) and A Passion Play (1973), and shifted again to hard rock mixed with folk rock with Songs from the Wood (1977) and Heavy Horses (1978). Jethro Tull have sold over 60 million albums worldwide, with 11 gold and five platinum albums among them. They have been described by Rolling Stone as “one of the most commercially successful and eccentric progressive rock bands”. The Tour 2016-17 leads to Europe, Australia, and the USA. Join our 4 day tour to visit a Jethro Tull’s concert (09/03/2017) and get unforgettable impressions from the Ukrainian capital. Please note! tour starts on March 09, 2017. Special thanks to James Tull Goodwin! JETHRO TULL PERFORMED BY IAN ANDERSON LINK Ian Anderson, known throughout the world of rock music as the flute and voice behind the legendary Jethro Tull, celebrated his 44th year as an international recording and performing musician in 2012. He declares a lifelong commitment to music as a profession, being far too young to hang up his hat or his flute, although the tights and codpiece have long since been consigned to some forgotten bottom drawer. Salute to all TULL Fans and Rebecca Downes !!!

In addition to their previously announced July 6 date with Pink Martini, the CSO will also be performing alongside prog rock legends Jethro Tull by Ian Anderson this summer at the iconic outdoor venue. The team up is scheduled to take place on Friday, May 26. Tickets for the show, the first date of Jethro Tull’s newly announced summer tour, will go on sale at 10am this Friday, Feb. 3, right here on AXS.com. According to a post on the band’s Facebook page, this summer’s tour will find the group performing “a collection of best-known Jethro Tull classics with a few rarely played pieces.” Lead by Anderson’s signature flute, Jethro Tull have amassed one of the most impressive catalogs in the prog rock canon, including the back-to-back masterpieces of Aqualung and Thick as a Brick. Later this year, Anderson will be releasing The String Quartets, an album of Jethro Tull covers recorded by Anderson and the Carducci Quartet. With the Colorado Symphony Orchestra in the building, there’s a good chance some of this material could be performed at Red Rocks. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ www.gratefulweb.com/articles/ian-andersons-jethro-tull-tour-mayIan Anderson's Jethro Tull On Tour in MaySubmitted by Leighton Media on Mon, 01/30/2017 - 13:30 Ian Anderson is returning to the United States this May and June to present concerts in the Mountain States, Texas, and Oklahoma.
