Yes, I remember what a big deal the betamax Slipstream was in my life. My best Tull friend was a tech guy and had betamax and we watched it very frequently. His girlfriend already hated me...but when I came to their house, at about 3:00 AM one night in about 1983...beacuse it was life or death important to show my drunken date 'Black Sunday', there was no turning back..she really really hated me forever.

Cool story now...you're such a rebel. Cheers! won't you turn your head once more --- and make your peace with everyone?

My father did some work for Sony and was instrumental in helping them set up a factory in South Wales. We always had the latest gizmo's free from Sony. Remember being the first kid in school with a pocket calculator (Kraftwerk song!) a Triniton TV and of course a huge Sony top loading Betamax -
My girlfriend was a full blown New Romantic and I was a wasn't far behind ( I was young and impressionable and had to impress the girlies) - I had this love of Tull and persuaded my then girlfriend to watch Slipstream - she loved it and she remained a fan of that era - A, Broadsword and particularly Walk into Light.
I recall seeing Dexys Midnight Runners live and when we went home watched Slipstream( was like a guilty pleasure) - it made such an impression on me and I watched it as much as I could. It was great that after seeing 'A' live in 1980 - you could put this on relate to the live show.
Oh Happy days.
My older brother also had a video - something called 'Pretty Peaches' but I wasnt allowed to borrow it - can't recall why
