This is purely about us fans and shared coincidences and experiences and nothing to do with Tull concerts or emotions or memories about Tull - there's a whole Forum for that!
It might sit here in the "Everything Else" section for a while gathering dust till some eureka moment occurs when we say " Bloody hell, we love Tull and ..."
it might not be as interesting to warrant a "bloody hell"
I'll start with my earliest coincidence. I lived in Cornwall and so does Graham.
Frontdorrangel's dad served in the same place as my father and where my mother lived/worked when she emigrated to America.
So this might take up a few pages as I relate (some) of the stories my mother tells me every night on the phone about Stewart Airbase, Newburgh, working in the PX in the late fifties and meeting my father while playing on the pin ball machine at the Halfway Lodge.
My Dad was in the RAF in WW2. Got stationed at one point in Sierra Leone fixing the planes for coastal command. He and my Mother were on holiday in Austria in the 1970s and met up with a German couple and the husband, it turned out, was also in the same theatre of war and at the same time as Dad but flying Condor aircraft for the Luftwaffe.
They all remained very good friends thereafter and for the rest of their lives - shows that friendship and respect is much better way forward.

steelmonkey: I still don't feel like I have learned and integrated the 5 songs that were written for the opera. I wonder if and when they will ever be available besides the version snagged from a live show that I listen to now and again.

JTull 007: The Jethro Tull Forum is not on Facebook but there are some called The Jethro Tull Board or Group that have been quite abusive to TRUE TULL Fans. This Forum is very open minded and not so childish.

maddogfagin: Their jealousy and ignorance knows no bounds. Best ignore them - most sensible people do these days.

dryad: Hey, I'm shouting out because I can't figure out how to post in the "Hello, I'm new Here!" post. I cam over here looking for Samhain songs. I'll roll with "Songs From the Wood" if no one knows of something specific. I'll do the hello if I can figure it out
