Do we have enough money in the forum treasury for us all to go to Italy for a few days and see these guys? Tribute bands used to be a target of jokes and derision...but over the years many have evolved to very welcome opportunities to see great music performed live. The Martin Barre Band Ian Anderson's certainly proves that Ian Anderson compositions do not need him onstage to shine and over the years groups like Cold Flame and the Day-Glo Pirates have given countless thousands of people great nights out listening to Tull music. I mean, what is all classical music if not tribute bands? ( Let's keep that last statement among ourselves..I am sure there are strong dissenting opinions).

I'm deadly serious when I've mentioned before about a Tull themed summer holiday. It's a project in the making and one that I'll start here on the Forum - where else! It encompasses music, history, geography, friendship and fun!

Maybe call it 'Outside' ? as sly Tull tribute to a song on one of your favorite albums and the point of the project ?

No, but I saw that world...my bike messenger service clients included those kinds of ad people ( J. Walter Thompson, Saatchi) who used bike delivery to convince recipients that crap press releases and other advertisement dreck was important and deserved attention, They also sent us to the art store to pick up sail size canvases that made bike riding in traffic a whole other sport. And they dragged their asses on paying bills.
