Hi all, I probably should have done this before but for different reasons (especially my back*, most of my friends already know but my PM and my email are available to all forum members) has not been possible, surely I should have done an effort and say "Hi, I'm fine!", so I apologize to all, I was just waiting for the moment to return with some regularity... the most important thing now is that I'm back and I'll try to finish this thread that I left half done. **Drs have to put me three titanium plates in the vertebrae, more or less where the back loses its name, so I have very reduced my hours in front of a PC Another big culprit has been Windows 10 , since the update I had to reinstall it four times!, most recently this past week ... I hope it's the last. Glad you're better Remy - you are now the Forum's Windows 10 advisor as no doubt many more of us will be switching in the coming years or so. Still on XP myself

Take care my friend and keep strong.

Note from Sarah N Dippity: "Windows 10 seems to be a considerably faster, dependable and robust OS, but be careful when upgrading, as older hardware and software may not be supported ever or yet. Check your manufacturers websites first. Windows 10 itself will likely please you, but if you're upgrading from XP, Vista or 7, you might find that something can't be brought along with the upgrade, such as old software or some software drivers."

Words of wisdom Sir. My PC's an old model so I've been advised to completely upgrade in the future to a new PC or laptop running windows 10 but keeping my old PC working with XP so files etc can be transferred in my own time and still able to use the old PC for old hardware until I can source newer/equivalent ones. Should be fun

Good afternoon Remy and Tull Forum members, Very pleased to see Remy back on board and in good form again. Really interesting to hear about his problems with Windows 10. So here is a story to share. I have been working on a new Cold Flame concept album in the studio since the start of the year. Progress on this project has however ground to a halt over the last 2 months as a result of Paul the band's sound engineer opting to upgrade to Windows 10 at the end of August. Unfortunately we then found out that Windows 10 was not compatible with existing studio programmes. Result - nothing happening in over 2 months which has been very frustrating for all concerned. We now believe the problem has been fixed and hopefully we will be back in the studio to pick up on the current project within the next few days. Will post updates on this and also a seperate new acoustic project in due course as I have a feeling that some of the material recorded might be of special interest to Forum members.
Cheers...Patrick

I must say that I have solved my problem with Windows 10 doing a clean install. When you install an update from Windows 10 or from a disk, they do not tell you you're going run out of recovery partition. When you buy a computer always has a partition for recovery (system image), so you will not have trouble reinstalling Windows without losing your applications or repair any problem without having to start from 0 every time. My recommendation is to do a clean install with a partition for recovery (always check that your hardware is compatible with Win 10) Memories of the past convention This software and hardware does not fail

Right now it comes to my mind a very nice anecdote I can not overlook, of course our president Albert (as every year) had a few words of remembrance for those who have left us this year, some Tulliano member and our 1st guest and original Tull member, Glenn Cornick. It was only our second convention in 2004, Glenn did not know us at all, and Us did not expect even an answer but quickly said "yes and where it was?", we did not go out of our astonishment, Glenn came with his wife and a baby named Drew. Oh! also was accompanied by certain keyboardist named John Evan! We can say that Glenn and John gave to our association the shove we needed. Drew went to sleep in a crib in the house of our president Albert, and that same cradle served for the child of Albert, he always says us in jocular way why your child It's so unruly... Today we continue in contact with Brigitte.

Take 3 Jaqui McShee, Gerry Conway and Alan Thomson www.pentangle.info/JMPentangle/TAKE_3.html
Take 3 - Jardin D'Amour @ Tullianos Convention 2015
Jaqui McShee -Take 3 @ Tullianos Convention 2015 ( Full Concert )
Review by Vincent Clement Jenny Layron on Genesimphonic Ràdio Gelida (Alt Penedès)
Google translator: The highlight of the night went to Take Three, Jacqui Mcshee, Pentagle singer, Jerry Conway, Fairport Convention and Jethro Tull drummer and Alan Thomson reputed British session musician, he has collaborated with the likes of Lou Reed, David Gilmour, Eric Clapton and Rick Wakeman and worked with John Martyn up from the 80's until the death of the latter among others. It was a great mix repertoire of songs from her latest album as well as classics of Pentagle, where the voice of Jacqui McShee shine outstandingly considering your age exceeds 70 years. Jerry Conway though Jethro Tull played in one of the hardest albums, The Broadsword and The Beast, the musician that I saw was that plays with Cat Stevens in the early 70's and with a mastery of percussion changing instrument from one song to another without any problem, and Alan Thomson, although his instrument is the bass, he is like fish in the water playing the acoustic guitar, because as I said earlier has played with the biggest and me after seen on stage can be understood besides the proximity to chatting with members after the concert. Began the concert featuring songs from his album includes traditional songs previously recorded Jacqui McShee Pentagle and whose listening is, relatively speaking, as is so that he could enjoy the concert, from initial Nottamun going One Morning In Town May (The Nightingale), Jardin D'Amour or Factory Girl, at which time sitting in one of the benches among the trees at Tullianos Convention 2015 of the Auditorium Marc Grau one could think how lucky you are to be part of this big family year after year made a huge work for the enjoyment of that year after year we go there. The end of the concert was fantastic ending Pentagle classics like Will The Circle Be Unbroken or Light Flight, which later resulted in a very funny story and ended the concert We'll Be Together Again, the title could not be more successful. Say it was a real pleasure to witness something and hopefully repeat more for Spain.
