Keith Relf very under-rated and forgotten...An equal of Jagger and Burdon. The Yardbirds were an excellent band and group of musicians. To their detriment they were classed as being a feeder group for 3 of the UK's best guitarists and their place in rock history has been because of this and not the fine music they played. Had they had a stable line up without the open door policy of guitar gods, they would have been better known and more than likely up there with the Stones, The Who, The Kinks and Beatles imo. Same goes for The Pretty Things who, for different reasons, didn't manage to get the recognition they so richly deserved.
