Isle Of Wight Festival - 2015 Live Review By Jim Pusey on 16 June 2015 In honesty though, the laid-back mood of many of the Sunday artists was most pronounced on the main stage. Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson may have divided opinion with his flute playing, but Imelda May and Sweden's First Aid Kit certainly won over the crowd. The latter dedicated a song to Emmylou Harris ahead of the Polar Music Prize in their home country this week. For many in the crowd, it was a pleasant surprise that their mix of Folk and Country carried enough weight to justify their Main Stage booking. Banish zombies from our heads

Aqualung with Ryan taking over quite a big chunk of the vocals.

I found it very interesting that Ian's video at the iow festival is kicking ass over all the other videos thatI've looked at on YouTube.

Managed to watch up to 'Celebration' by Kool and the Gang ........then fell asleep. Watched it and was very disappointed! They only showed about half of the full Locomotive Breath set that is available on YouTube . They did air the full 1970 show earlier in the day but they put that on every few months anyway. I'm sure there is way more footage that we will see at some point

Can't see that the powers that be behind Fleetwood Mac would just be content with a few songs featured on the programme so it may be that a promise of a commercial dvd release may have been part of the contract to get them to the IoW in the first place. That's my theory anyway (with apologies to Miss Anne Elk)

Not to whine but... IOW Shirt Link Ok maybe a little The IOW shirts are somewhat pricey. Plus the name Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson is lower right side. Sandwiched between Suzanne Vega, The Ram Jam Band and The Struts

exepose.com/2015/06/17/comprehensive-review-isle-of-wight-festival-2015/COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW: ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL 2015"One of 1970’s headliners, Jethro Tull’s Ian Anderson, then played to a considerable crowd with wit and experience, playing new material he warned was suitable for those needing a lavatory break, and Bach’s ‘Bourée’ as another tribute to Hendrix. A ten minute recital of ‘Aqualung’ secured the dancing flautist as an act that was definitely not past his time."

www.efestivals.co.uk/festivals/iow/2015/review-sunday.shtml"With such good line-ups on the main stage it is difficult to be motivated to move through the site, but as always the promise of real ale and/or cherry beer for is always a strong pull, so after observing a game of Twister (perfect for stretching tired legs) en-route we made our way to the Kashmir Cafe, our plan had been to see local act Cherishport, but for reasons unknown he wasn’t performing as billed (another app problem?) we headed back to main stage for to sooth my inner prog-rocker and watch Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson. Arguably more famous for playing the flute while standing on one leg as he is for his music. the set was a meandering, guitar and flute laden odyssey of sudden key and tempo changes through over-long songs - In short it was a prog-rock fans delight, although those less enlightened of us were bemused and confused by it all."

Nice find Jim. Even though it was blurry this was a very good performance to watch. Do you think those pro-shot camera men were told in there earpieces to go left and right all the time just to annoy the audience? I think I might have been tempted to throw the odd rotten tomato at them.

At least everyone had time to get used to this with other bands too. DVD is what we need.
