I became a fan with Heavy Horses! Been to concerts in Germany- Oregon and Washington! Really big fan- too bad about Martin and Ian- hope things get back to normal soon!

Welcome to The Jerthro Tull Forum Stretch76! I know that many Tull fans are sad about the split between Martin and Ian, but in my opinion this has done them both a lot of good... Fortunately they are both out there performing, and Martin will be in Denmark on the 30th of October. So, lots of good music... Are you from Germany?

By the way, I haven't really read any stories about the split... they just decided to go separate ways with no hard feelings or did something serious happen?

Well there's been no official word from either; both Ian and Martin saying that as Jethro Tull is on hold, both are doing their own thing and, importantly, music beit Ian Anderson composed. Your guess is as good as mine as to whether they'll get Jethro Tull back on the road although somehow, after all this time, I now doubt it.

I think we will see Ian and Martin onstage together. Neither have completely ruled it out....Ian is full of surprises....oh, you expected TAAB 2 ?

Just like maddogfagin I believe Ian and Martin will be seen on stage again in the future and I would love to see Martin and Florian doing a Wishbone Ash style twin lead guitar. I'm dreaming again I suppose. Welcome to The Jethro Tull Forum stretch76.John/bunkerfan
