I stumbled across this guy from Tenerife, part of the Canary Islands. link -Tenerife Island Ian has been on the island for over 11 years, after twenty-five years in the business in the UK. link - Ian Anderson He is a classically trained singer, has his own cabaret act, “Showstoppers” Broadway tribute, and is also a part of two 4-piece shows, “Moviestar” tribute to Hollywood and “Electric Dreams” tribute to 80′s Electronica. He has sung, danced, acted, played keyboards, done sound and lighting, sewn costumes and even done make-up!
He has just finished a 2 year run in “History, The Musical” at the Magma Centre in Las Americas, and is in rehearsal for “Rockstory” which will open in the Auditorio Infanta Leonora in Los Cristianos on 8th July.

Interesting, if accurate, the the brand X Ian was born exactly 15 days before Party Leader. Yeah it's the other Ian Anderson, middle initial A, who has always blamed Ian Anderson, middle initial S, for being kicked off the Island Record's roster back in '69 (about then anyway).

www.sightunseen.com/2014/08/ian-anderson-ceramicist/If you find it at all impressive that Philadelphia-based ceramicist Ian Anderson is releasing the debut collection we’re presenting here at the tender age of just 23, consider this: Anderson has been developing the collection’s asymmetrical, highly sophisticated forms in his head ever since he was a high-school student back in Mission Viejo, California.

exclaim.ca/News/aphex_twin_reveals_syro_vinyl_box_setThe Design Republic's Ian Anderson explained the idea of including a cost breakdown of the album in its artwork. "At the beginning of the process we discussed a few ideas Richard wanted to explore," he said, adding, "one was the idea of pressing the album or a single track into the fabric of the cover, effectively as a deboss; a second was to use shots of the raw vinyl pucks albums are pressed from; and the third was to document in some way every cost involved in the production of the specific album format the purchaser had in their hands" www.nme.com/news/aphex-twin--2/79569Circuit court news for 9/7 www.ourmidland.com/police_and_courts/circuit_court/circuit-court-news-for/article_62243273-ea9e-521a-bac5-83b8f2cbe682.html• Ian Jeffery Anderson, 31, Jefferson Avenue, was sentenced for third-offense home invasion. The offense occurred from April 18 to 21 in Midland. Carras sentenced Anderson to 15 days in jail with credit for time served, $240 restitution, $700 fines and two years probation. Cross country round-up: Kittatinny girls go 2-0, Ian Anderson wins for Kittatinny boys Posted: Sep 09, 2014 10:36 PM EST Updated: Sep 09, 2014 10:36 PM EST www.njherald.com/story/26491922/2014/09/09/cross-country-round-up-kittatinny-girls-go-2-0-ian-anderson-wins-for-kittatinny-boysThe Kittatinny boys narrowly lost to Morris Tech (25:30), though Kittatinny's Ian Anderson won the race in 17:29. Matt Rice of Kittatinny placed third in 18:52. business.financialpost.com/2014/09/03/kinder-morgan-canada-chief-burnaby-is-lightning-rod-of-trans-mountain-pipeline-debate/?__lsa=3bcd-76a3“As far as Burnaby goes, it is the lightning rod of the debate these days,” Kinder Morgan Canada president Ian Anderson said in an interview Wednesday. “The mayor and his council — and counsel — have taken the very firm position that they won’t talk to us and won’t engage with us and won’t consult with us on our plans. They stand opposed. And any conversation with us is, in their words, ‘a sign of weakness in their stance.’ “That is frustrating. That is clearly not the way I’d like to do business or how I would want to approach any relationship. But they have chosen that path.” With Burnaby, led by long-time mayor Derek Corrigan, maintaining that its bylaws are more important than the National Energy Board Act, the matter will end up in court so a judge can decide which law prevails, Mr. Anderson predicted. The city’s opposition puts in high relief the toughest challenge faced by the project — and increasingly by all major infrastructure projects: How to reconcile the national interest with local concerns. “We see it in British Columbia like nowhere else,” Mr. Anderson said. www.arbdates.com/view.php?a=179Ian Anderson Anderson Arbitration Inc. There's a Professor Ian Anderson of Psychiatry at the Institute of Brain Behaviour and Mental Health in Manchester. www.bbmh.manchester.ac.uk/staff/87984/I used to find a Mr Ian Anderson who worked in Blackpool Council and was famous anytime you googled "Ian Anderson Blackpool" however he's not to be found now - probably changed his name - gone under a pseudonym in order to write an album no doubt influenced by another Ian Anderson from Blackpool.

ABF Publisher Ian Anderson captured this morning's Special Shape Rodeo at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta on video. CKF Brings Earthcycle Production Home To North America www.perishablenews.com/index.php?article=0039867“Our decision to invest in the people and the technology to manufacture Earthcycle ™ in Canada further delivers on our sustainability mission” says Ian Anderson, President of CKF Inc., “Consumers today have a wider definition of sustainability, one that incorporates socially responsible manufacturing and support of local businesses”, adds Anderson. Based on research, it is known that consumers continue to demand that packaging at least be recyclable or compostable while becoming more conscientious about where goods are produced. A majority of consumers want to buy local and support local businesses. www.freshplaza.com/article/128817/CKF-brings-Earthcycle-Production-home-to-North-AmericaBusinesses evicted to make way for flats www.ft.com/cms/s/0/811fa360-4e1d-11e4-adfe-00144feab7de.html#axzz3FkO8pKbcIan Anderson, a CBRE director, said the office to residential conversion policy was “a blunt tool” which had “some unintended consequences”. The government could consider introducing an occupancy test to protect business tenants, Mr Anderson said but that could be difficult to implement. (I can't get out!)

Musings of an Aging Boomer A senior perspective on the evolution of Western living since IBM Selectrics and rock-and-roll were young. Ian Keith Anderson Entrepreneurial writer and thinker musingsofanagingboomer.blogspot.ca/Blogs about Ian AndersonThursday, May 22, 2014 Being Ian Anderson Not long ago a fellow boomer recalled for me that I share a name with a now-legendary rock singer. As he happens to be about my height and age, and we share an accent, I have in the past been asked for my autograph. On several occasions when he and his band were in Town, male store clerks handling my credit card jumped to their own conclusion. Rather than demur, I usually decided to make a fan's day. After all, I did once live through the wall from his road manager at my Weybridge, Surrey condo, and was very excited one time to see the great man's white Roller parked outside. Why not fame by association? On one of my recent browsing safaris I came across a video curiosity that features a very young and hairy Ian Anderson near the start of his career journey. Called the 'Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus', it features Anderson's band as first up and his now famous flute-playing position, one leg in the air. Only last year I went to see the flute star do his jump-up pied-piper act on the Canadian leg of his Thick as a Brick world tour. Even balder than me but in better shape from skipping around the stage, Ian still gets his leg up. When I try being one-legged at yoga class I invariably topple fast. "You are about to be transported to another age, swinging London in the late sixties" brags the VHS cover blurb. "You’ve heard of Oxford Circus, You’ve heard of Piccadilly Circus, Well this is the Rolling Stones Rock And Roll Circus" boasts Mick Jagger. For that era, nearby Kings Road in Chelsea was Cool Central when I attended college right at its heart. Hard to believe we were so weird. Were did all that spontaneity go? Don't you wish you could still leap around like that!
