By not working I don't mean they'd refuse. ...or would they? Musicians that at first wouldn't suit Ian either now or over the years and yet might be a good contrast. Biggest example recently was Marc Almond from Soft Cell. I didn't see the concert so I don't know if it worked but I don't think it did. In fact by the sound of this and especially after Ryan's excellent vocals it was a disaster (Florien's guitar broke too) Next David Bowie...in any of his forms - would it have worked - a bit? A flute part on Major Tom? Ian dancing with Mick Jagger and Bowie?

Not the best quality soundwise. I was stage right as you look at it and I thought Marc Almond was excellent, there again I liked Sex Dwarf ( its not what you think ) google it.

Met Debbie Harry in Hamburg...they were on Chrysalis and she said she LOVES Tull, especially Ian. Earlier today on the morning show Kelly and Michael, Blondie played "Heart of Glass" live. They were just about out of time and got the lyrics "sure turned out to be a pain in the ass" right before the last credits. On this replay, the lyrics were removed the 2:58 - 3:02 mark.
