Although it's beyond knowing, when are the other gigs going to be announced?
I've been searching every day for more info and nothing is certain till Ian - TULL says so. When will it end? Where will they go? How many are Jethro Tull The Rock Opera?

Il Nuovo Teatro De MilanoGoogle translate: Ian Anderson - The Best of Jethro Tull IAN ANDERSON. The Best of Jethro Tull April 17, 2015 IAN ANDERSON, leader of JETHRO TULL, back on tour in Italy in April with the concert show The Best of Jethro Tull & New Album "Homo Herraticus". The icon of the progressive rock world engages with a production complex, where the music is accompanied by performances and new videos to keep playing and dialogue with the present and the past. ANDERSON BIOGRAPHY It was 1968 when the scene of the rock, the album This Was, where the leader, Ian Anderson, instead of playing the guitar or keyboards, flute used to give color to a sound from the blues with some jazz and graft rock. An explosive mixture and fascinating. Ian Anderson, composer of most of the songs, with the passing years have consolidated its position within the group by writing a string of hits that have made the history of rock (Aqualung, Thick as a Brick and Songs From the Wood, just to name a few) and selling millions of records worldwide. In the last months of 1967, four-haired hopefuls found themselves in Luton, a town of Bedfordshire, in the south of England. The genuine talent and very little academic Ian Anderson, Mick Abrahams, Glenn Cornick and Clive Bunker tentatively joined to form the original lineup of Jethro Tull. The group will be able to earn a permanent place at the famous Marquee club in London, but only after a few false starts with other names ("Navy Blue", "Ian Henderson's Bag 'or Blues," Jethro Toe "and the suicidal" Candy Coloured Rain " ). Back in March of 1968 the Tull had built a following as a new face in the underground music scene of blues revival. And a Thursday night ended up there the queue outside the room. After appearances in Hyde Park and at the Sunbury Jazz and Blues Festival in the summer of '68, the band expands consents releasing the album "This Was" which, while paying tribute to the blues tradition from which came the band, already contained hints of broader influences that would become evident after ' output of Mick Abrahams. In fact, for musical diversity and character, the founding guitarist Abrahams will go and Tull embarked, with the then unproven replacement Martin Barre, in recording the landmark "Stand Up" at the beginning of 1969 . Fortunately the new album proved a huge success and opened new opportunities in Europe and the United States. The influences of classical, jazz, folk and ethnic Ian Anderson made that record eclectic an anchor for the early history of the group, which reached number one on the British charts. The Tull, initially shadow of Led Zeppelin and other big, explosive ascent began on the upper floors of the American star system, which culminated in the next three years with the covers of Time and Rolling Stone, five nights at the Forum in Los Angeles to three Madison Square Garden in New York. Some hit singles increased the popularity in the early days; among these, "Living in the Past", written during the first US tour in 1969, to keep the name at home in England. However it was the albums as a whole to give strength to the growth of Jethro Tull since they were not limited to a strong piece, but several classic rock radio were holding high attention to the band between the concerts and new recordings . "Aqualung" and so-called concept albums "Thick as a Brick" and "A Passion Play" confirmed the progressive rock tag which complemented other terms such as "Art-rock", "Blues-rock", "folk-rock" and "Hard -rock "depending on the personal reactions of the critics to the musical thought often complex flautist and singer Ian Anderson. First rock band since the Beatles to play at Shea Stadium in New York, the Tull conquered the throne of live performance in North America. Howard Stern imparò diligently the words of Aqualung. Elton John is reconquest 'the distinction of having played in front of more people in American cities and Bill Clinton wisely chose the saxophone instead of the flute. With two number one albums in the US and successes in the charts around the world, the group broke away gradually from the side more 'commercial recordings and tours. During the 70s, 80s and 90s to the new millennium, their albums and concerts have demonstrated at every latitude the enduring artistic credibility of a complex always able to renew. The popularity of the group reached countries where rock music had not yet been promoted and the legend of Jethro Tull has caught from Buenos Aires to Budapest; and in the end the fans were reciprocated with concerts in places where other groups were afraid to play, or simply were not interested in doing so. The drummer Doane Perry and later keyboardist Andy Giddings and bassist Jonathan Noyce brought their important personal musical contributions to the band joining all'imprescindibile guitarist Martin Barre who, like Anderson himself, has guaranteed the continuity and artistic legacy early. In early 2002, Jethro Tull released their first DVD with live material, followed by its live CD, also titled "Living With the Past", both cd and dvd. As for the activity in the studio, the band has given to the press at the end of 2003, Jethro Tull Christmas Album, collage of old and new songs related to Christmas and Anderson has published the fourth solo album (Rupi's Dance). It's recently been marketed for Eagle dvd Live at Montreux 2003, the album This Was just been reissued in deluxe version and has just released the double DVD "Jethro Tull - Their fully Authorised story", the official history of the group. Moreover, and 'just been released on DVD "Jack in The Green" -collection unofficial but authorized by the band's live appearances in Germany from 1970 to 1993. The activities' Ian Anderson in recent years and' focused mainly on live performances ("I can not keep doing it all his life - he says - so long as I can I like to play in every corner of the world"). Alongside the tour of Jethro Tull, Anderson three years dedicated to two solo projects; on the one hand an original talk show entitled "Rubbing Elbows with Ian Anderson" which provides a performance acoustic interspersed with interviews and dialogues with the audience obviously destined to English-speaking audiences; other concerts of orchestral music by solo albums and those of Tull. In both cases, Anderson is also accompanied by an electric quartet (but not members of Tull, to emphasize the different nature of the shows). In this context, Anderson and 'performed several times in Italy, often together with the classical flutist Andrea Griminelli. Even guitarist Martin Barre in 2004 he released his third solo album (Stage Left, also distributed in Italy). Undoubtedly hundreds of thousands of fans of all ages will thrill even the trill of flute and guitar strumming contorceranno to Martin. Critics rimugineranno and the radio say, "Who? I thought they had stopped years ago to devote himself to fish farming." But what do they know? Well, andateglielo to say ... After 40 years of musical activity, about thirty albums to their credit and more than 50 million records sold, more than 2,500 concerts in 40 countries, Tull are still on top, engaged in an average of one hundred concerts a year that attract old and new fans, playing in front of 300.00 people per year. Together, they continue to carry on the legacy of the music of Tull, with its variety and depth of expression wherever fans, more or less young, want to listen to music inspired Rock, Folk, Jazz and Classical. For true connoisseurs. The organization is responsible Ventidieci, IMARTS, Saludo Italy. JETHRO TULL'S IAN
