My Grandmother on my Mother's side was Irish. According to her stories; I am a descendant of the family known as the foolish O'Neill's. (Not to be confused with regular O'Neill's.) Sounds right somehow. I need to go to Ireland someday. I should do some research.

Some of the wisest people are often called fools... and speaking of "fools", I immediately thought of the marvelous song: "The Witches Promise." So I'll just play that for you... and for everyone else, listening...

The O'Neill clan was a very prominent group of families (Ulster - I think) who held positions of great power. Ireland's a lovely country to visit it gets a bit boring though if you stay awhile.

It seems I really should check out the family tree. There just me be a warrior's heart here. Interesting thought.
