Oh dearie dearie me, another part of my youth gone, sort of buggers up the day, I will be eternally grateful I saw TYA at the Isle Of Wight in 1970.

First Band I ever saw live...on a bill with Traffic, Free and Johnh martin in late 1972. Every couple months they play 'I'd love to change the world' on the local FM station...never get tired of it...and TYA so related to Tull in early days...sharing gigs, managers, backgrounds, transit van lifestyles...wow...really sad.

Alvin Lee did change the world. His music and lyrics helped end the Vietnam War and gave a voice to social justice. He was relevant when it mattered the most. It mattered to guys like me who never went to Vietnam. Thank You Alvin.

Sad news. I loved the music of Ten Year After. Alvin has gone home. Probably sporting a nice pair of clogs.

I feel the same way Bernie and also agree with the other members who feel his loss. Another gone far too soon and before his time.
Condolences to his family.
