Thanks P, a much different perspective. Not the least of which very much liked the guy's gentle Irish voice.

Actually I am having some fun now listening to these great old songs, with the maybe exception of the Monkees one I will stick on at the end. First one reminds me of my Mom just about too much to listen to, and probably the first song I ever loved. Peter, Paul and Mary youtu.be/FnA87uiraosTurtles youtu.be/Ptc8IFkpSMUHombres youtu.be/LgVMMdOplHw? and the Mysterians, my first rock show in 1/67, Chicago Amphitheater, best buddy Phil's 11th birthday, still one of my favorite rock songs ever, the band still going strong, ? still one quirky very cool dude, sort of a Mexican American Sir Mick youtu.be/Qc69zr_5uH4Lulu, inspired by American royalty, Sidney Poitier youtu.be/PgtVhm7LjFgRingo!!! youtu.be/PgtVhm7LjFgadore, not like, this song, Mama's and Papas youtu.be/29GD-4VkGB0Ronettes youtu.be/oyGO5NRhzvkMon kees youtu.be/sUzs5dlLrm0

Finally I have thought of one I like, for personal reasons, that I don't think anyone else will. My cousin Frankie McDevitt from New Orleans was a member in Vietnam of Special Forces, aka the Green Beret. He was killed in Vietnam in 68, so secretive are their operations we have never learned much about how and why. But he was a childhood hero of mine, for reasons having nothing to do with the military but for his expansive personality and very southern, (How u doin boy?)ways, He followed the path his Father, my Uncle Dude (Walter) had in WW2 though the name was different at the time, I forget what it was, but the equivalent of the Green Beret. So anyway, to Frankie, via Sgt Barry Sadler youtu.be/PX4Flhw0HSA

BBC4, (a slightly obscure digital channel), screened a whole bunch of stuff about Pink Floyd at some god unearthly hour.

A bunch of what I can only describe as brown specked leaves and a couple of tired dead flowers arrived this morning. The person that sent them went via interflora and paid over thirty pounds for them. I'm going to trading standards tomorrrow. What really pisses me off about it is imagine a friend or loved one sent them to someone lying ill in hospital and was ripped off by the florist and they got away with it

What really pisses me off about it is imagine a friend or loved one sent them to someone lying ill in hospital and was ripped off by the florist and they got away with it On the very sad day that my youngest daughter died of cancer a bunch of flowers arrived also via interflora from some very good friends of ours who thankfully weren't able to travel up to see them. I think the flowers just about managed to keep for a few hours. Of course we had to lie to them, saying "they were lovely". What a rip off!

Not providing a service when a service is more than desirable and sent in good faith. I'll let you know what trading standards say. I truly echo Bernie's lovely words.

I now use a local shop here in Launceston where I know the results will be good. Have these on me

The Mom said it best...no punishment is severe enough for the scum that beat the kid. They should have their hands and dicks amputated with sardine can tops.

Lent some to TT; said something about tickets and a slap up meal afterwards. Promised he'd pay it back in full with an interest rate of 15%. The rest is in the Swiss bank account you kindly set up

Junior putting a pizza in the oven then forgetting about it and going to bed. Me waking up to the sound of the smoke alarm and the smell of smoke permeating every pore and the sound of my voice permeating his eardrums.
