Thought we might have had a thread dedicated to this Festival - lets bring it up to date. It's a brilliant festival that's been going for a great number of years this year is the 51st! www.cambridgelivetrust.co.uk/folk-festivalA list of all the artists who've appeared since 1965 www.cambridgelivetrust.co.uk/folk-festival/history/past-artistsBang up to date this year had Joan Baez and Joan Armatrading as lead acts www.cambridgelivetrust.co.uk/folk-festival/line-upPost away any favourites and unknown acts from the Festival. Ranagri"...Ranagri’s flute and harp infused set – who wasn’t conjuring up visions of the airier moments of sublime Jethro Tull.." "Ranagri is a contemporary folk band of four musicians (Dónal Rogers, Jean Kelly, Eliza Marshall, Tad Sargent) who have come together to create some exciting new music. Consisting of flutes; Irish whistles; electric harp; bodhran; guitar; bouzouki and voices, Ranagri fuse celtic folk music with quality contemporary songwriting, enhanced by virtuosic instrumentals, vibrant rhythms and haunting melodies, all interlaced with vivid storytelling.." www.ranagri.com/contact-me.html

Driving me nuts now.
Has the band or Ian ever played at the Festival?
You know when you start to delve into the world of Folk Music it really could warrant a four or five year university course/degree just for the background and history alone.
