Thank you one "St Mary's Church in the hollow of the white hazel near a rapid whirlpool and the Church of St Tysilio of the red cave" duck. Did you know there's a place in New Zealand that boasts the longest place name in the world it's............... "Tetaumatawhakatangihangakoauaotamateaurehaeaturipukapihimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuaakitanarahu" Which means............ "The place where Tamatea, the man with the big knees, who slid, climbed, and swallowed mountains, known as land eater, played his flute to his loved one." There that's another worthless piece of information put to bed.

Not a sign, but should have been
Gas station attendedant : 'we closed'
Me, after concert in strange city, with empty tank rental car in bad ass neighborhood: But the sign says 24 hour service.
Gas station guy: That don't mean we are open all night !

Gas station guy: That don't mean we are open all night ! I am surprised the dimwitted gas station attendant didn't respond: "The sign doesn't say 24 hour CONTINUOUS service! We are open for 6 hours on Mondays, 5 hours on Tuesdays, 3 hours on Wednesdays...but it adds up to 24 hours." --------------------------------------------- There is a stand-up comic who has the line: " Why do 24-hour convenience stores have a lock on their doors?"

Liberated from a Tull concert in Swindon, circa 1992 If they had performers of the calibre of TULL playing in the next building on a regular basis, it would have been worthwhile signing up for the bowling league just in order to hear the music (in the background)!

A social distance reminder in Sheffield Who is the celebrity pictured on the poster? Bruce Forsyth. He was a much loved TV presenter here in the UK. One of his catchphrases was "Nice to see you, to see you....nice" with the audience joining in on the last "nice". He was on TV most of his life in different game shows etc, as the host. He died a couple of years ago at a good age.
