Hope this and other divestment ( new days) doesn't signal leaving the church ! The Tullpress job of collating and organizing press from start to late 90's was indispensible.,..and the standing down when the job became too much in terms of volume and, frankly, un-neccesary in tems of real news was completely realistic. Having press at hand from the glory years is a great resource.

TullPress will remain ... it just occurred to me that I don't need these books for anything, and I'm unlikely to read them again, so better they go to someone whose enthusiasm is stronger than mine at this point ... so, you know, recycling the energy No use in them sitting on my shelf.

I know it does not make for a fascinating post but cannot let Tullpress be present without issuing a huge slab of gratitude your way. That site seems like something I might have dreamed of existing decades ago. Also love your sentiment as regards the books.

That site seems like something I might have dreamed of existing decades ago. Also love your sentiment as regards the books. Like to add my thanks as well. I remember finding Tullpress while surfing the web during some downtime when working nights at Kingston Uni many years ago and re-reading some of the articles I'd mislaid over the years or even never kept. Also, and in no particular order and with apologies to many I've missed, thanks also to such sites as Electrocutas, Ministry of Information, Collecting JT, Cup of Wonder, Tull World, Laufi and many many others. Some are no longer updated but provide a wonderful resource archive for the faithful.

I'd have to go for Dave Rees' book as a "university thesis" and Greg Russo's for the reference material. I suppose it can be argued that any book on the band is good, if you can read it when English is your only language, apart that is from being able to swear politely in Polish.
