Jim Llewellyn is a Canadian drummer whose career bumped into Tulls for a while. He writes a snippet on it in his web page with some pics - scroll to about three quarters way down www.jimllewellyn.com/postersandstuff.htmlHe played for a band called Hammersmith who were a warm up act for Tull in Canada and America - any more info anyone?

That was me (Jim Llewellyn) We were touring with Jethro Tull in the fall of 1975 during their Minstrel in the Gallery Tour and played 10 or so dates with them. Barrie and I were hanging out quite a bit and when his mother passed away and he could not attend the funeral he became very disillusioned and told Ian he wanted to leave. Ian called me in Atlanta and asked if I would be interested in recording the next album in Brussels. Of course I said yes and everything was ready to go when Barrie talked it out with Ian and decided to stay. It was the right decision I believe for him at the time although I was of course very disappointed. Jim

Thanks for posting the links Jim. I shall peruse them at my leisure this week. Interesting links Jim. I viewed the other videos you've got on youtube as well - certainly well played and well worth listening to. Question - I'd like to see a discography listing all of your musical endeavors, when you have the time. Our young master Bunkerfan is a drummer and I reckon he'd be interested in your output. Cheers MD

I do apologize for taking so long to respond to this. Thanks for the interest but unfortunately I do not have much of a discography to compile for you. 99% of the work I have done has been as a hired gun in my area with the recording work I have done being not very creative from my point of view. I have just started a new project with some friends that may change that. In the meantime here are a couple of new YouTube postings that I recently did. www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYXuYGIo_9g www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9e7olGOKm4 Best regards, Jim
