Very cool cover of Wond'ring Aloud posted on youtube today. I like that one too I prefer when they don't try to sound too much like Ian unless it's a good impression like Hicko's.

Very cool cover of Wond'ring Aloud posted on youtube today. The guy's got the guitar down perfectly and his vocals are very nice too. One of the best covers of that song that I've heard. Jeff

Another great Tull cover - Salamander. I understand there may be some more Tull acoustic gems on their way from this guy - one of the under two minutes tunes!

This is good ok it's not the best version by any means but they have youth on their side It just tickles me that the music teacher is probably a Tull freak

Non rabbit said That was brilliant
thanks for your comment I have passed it on to the lads who are really thrilled that a Tull fan such as yourself liked their interpretion of this classic . They genuinely love Tull and want to progress in music The lads also do a mean version of Aqualung featuring the bass as the lead instrument and Bouree. I will persuade them to post these on you tube soon

Long story short: I'm going to see Tony Levin with his band "Stick Men" this week and have been checking out youtube stuff with the Chapman stick guitar. That happens to be the only instrument other than drums used by this band and I stumbled across this video:
I thought that was exceptionally cool!

I've never seen/heard that before. How long has it been around? It is a lovely sound. In my little bit of research on it I've learned that it's been around for over 30 years and it's slowly gaining popularity. I would imagine it's difficult to master since your playing bass and guitar at the same time. I think Tony Levin is probably the most famous user of it. I also believe he may have actually used it on a couple of Peter Gabriel albums. The venue I'm going to see his band at is extremely small, 290 seats, so I think I may get a chance to talk to him. I got questions!
