I'm waiting for IA to announce a Christmas shindig at Truro or Exeter Cathedral one day.
If he does I'll buy Patti a ticket as well and make sure she attends under threat of excommunication from the Church of Tull.
Truro and the cathedral hold happy memories for me.
Eight years ago while I was living in Truro I paid a visit to the cathedral one evening to buy some Christmas gifts, as I left and walked through the huge doors it started to snow- “ the first fall…” of the season. Snow is fairly rare in W.Cornwall, well compared to Scotland and quite a contrast for the 'summer holiday county.’
Apart from the locals panicking and shutting the shops early it was a very magical scene the only thing that could top that would be a concert from Santa Anderson – with friends.
JTull 007: My spirit will be sitting next to you at The Mountain Winery I'll be drinking some TULL Wine too

fluteinthegallery: If I had to put my love for Tull in to one word, it would be "everything". This band means everything to me.

steelmonkey: I would agree. I love music, I love rock and roll but my love for Tull is it's own category and bigger than the other two,

snaffler: I haven't listened to anything as refreshing for decades (re Jethro Tull), as a couple of recordings of Martin's 50th Anniversary US tour! The songs sound so reinvigorated by Dan Crisp's vocals. I saw Martin last year and the vibe in the band seemed great

steelmonkey: I still don't feel like I have learned and integrated the 5 songs that were written for the opera. I wonder if and when they will ever be available besides the version snagged from a live show that I listen to now and again.

maddogfagin: I hope that the silence regarding any updates on the new album means that sessions are going well
