Need any of you require further data helping you decide who to support in this year's baseball championship, in addition to the obvious: San Francisco vs Texas...please be advised that the Texas team was once owned by a certain George W. Bush. The Texas team plays in Dallas..perhaps the ugliest, most soul-less metropolis in the land...although Houston and San Antonio, along with, just to be fair, Phoenix, Orlando and Las Vegas. are also finalists in the ugly city category.
Any Questions?

Speaking as a chap who spent 10 years of his career in professional football (as an administrator....not a player, I hasten to add) I just like to say how it always makes me smile to read about a WORLD SERIES when that world only consists of one country!!
That said, I do enjoy Ice Hockey whenever I visit the United States of Uncle Sam

True enough...it's doof as can be to call the US and one canadian city championship a world series...if anything, it should be called Series mundial del los estados unidos since most of the players are from Latin America anyway....the big, strong, african-americans who ruled the game when i was a boy have migrated to american football and basketball leaving baseball to carribean latinos and small town southern white boys...still fun...

I was in San Francisco when the Giants won and participated in the Champions Parade with over 1 million people! Not something I will soon forget
