For those of you interested in Martin Barre's pre Tull career, you can now download three of the songs that The Penny Peeps recorded at www.tradebit.com/filedetail.php/7990496-the-penny-peeps-the-noblemenI can't say for certain if this is a legit release, probably not, but it may be of interest. A full story about Martin's pre Tull groups is at www.nickwarburton.com/wordpress/?cat=11Some Penny Peeps tracks can be found elsewhere on the web from some of the retro cd compilations which include not only The Penny Peeps but other obscure 60's groups, so happy hunting

MB on flute? Not a very sure of itself song.....doesn't go all the way to 'Buckinghams' or 'Small Faces'....gets stuck inbetween.

So it is alleged, and it begs the question as to who learnt the flute first - IA or MB ? In my honest opinion The Penny Peeps only recorded one really decent song which was "Model Village" which was the B side of "Little Man With A Stick" issued in 1968. Still it's a bit of Tull history

Ian's muse has taken him to early adolescence a number of times:Both bricks, parts of HE etc etc...wouldn't it be nice if he wrote some songs about the next stage of his life...the early Blades/John Evans Band years, the transit vans and church halls and generation of young brits trying to be the next Beatles or Stones.
