if you're bored, it can be interesting to sift through the photos tagged Tullishly @ Flicker ( like these) I especially like those that show a person's take on a particular song or lyric (like this, or this).

One of the very first things to show up on You Tube was a Bungle in the Jungle ( studio version) with well timed pics of a trip to the zoo.

Jethro Tull reviews @ Ground & SkyA nice spot for reviews, if you're into that sort of thing . Not only do you have at least one album review on-site, but each album's listing features off-site links to other reviews of the same work. Kinda cool.

Crowd complains of lax security at Jethro Tull concert-------------- 3 week old interview w/ Ian from India's 'The Hindu' newspaper: Interview-------------- From the official site: "Doane Perry remembers Mark Craney, former Tull drummer, in this thoughftul tribute." ^ I'm sure many here have already read this, but there might be others (like myself, until this evening) who missed it. Well worth reading.

"We spoke with Doane Perry, drummer of Jethro Tull. He’s worked with Bette Middler, Lou Reed, Todd Rundgren, and Pat Benatar, just to name a few. We interviewed Doane while Jethro Tull was on their 07/08 World Tour stop in Toronto. They play in select Canadian and American cities in late-2007/early-2008."Doane Perry interview

Great interview and even better lead pic of Martin. Apparently the guy interviewing hit upon a subject that Martin care's to talk about, his stock in trade which is guitars. I also use Martin as an example of IA's lack of guilt in all the suppositon's I have read, usually by Tull's alleged fans, re speculation of Ian being greedy as regards salary, or overbearingly difficult to work for. I have to say in the few interviews I have seen with John Evan, to me likely the most sorely missed ex Tullie in strictly Tullish respects if you dig, re I would say Andy was likely their most competent player, Evans has not come across well, and hearing him say that he was not happy with the job, well, I guess it was time for him to go. And, from such little as I know, which admittedly is essentially nothing, Barrie laying guilt at Ian's doorstep for not paying for Glascock's funeral, sorry, I ain't buying it. I still think Ian Anderson is a solid, if singular, character. And that pic down there of Ian, I do think its him for sure, I think even the damaged pinky is slightly evident, with one small provision. I know one of those wax museum's has a pretty good likeness of him from around this period I think in a famous pose like that, and it could be that. And clearly if the guy is marking the date as 79 he knows f**k all about Tull at any period save the period when they were allegedly important, who's date should correctly read always. And does anyone else think that next pic looks alot like a less well coiffed Bryan Ferry, who, whatever you think of his music, I have read more than once is a super nice guy and some sort of gentleman farmer himself. I must say some of his stuff has been awful damn good.

The Dutch JT Fan Club, who also run the email magazine "That's Not The Way Ian Planned It", now have their own web site which currently is under construction. It's at www.cupofwonder.com/thedutchjethrotullfanclub.htmlReckon it will be a good one, especially for European concert reviews and bootleg info.

Hi Folks
Newbie to these boards so I thought it best to give a bit of background first....friend lent me Broadsword in the 80s - loved it (used to get the New Day info mag - think thats what it was called!) and got into Tull from there on. Went to Uni in the 90s and spread the good word but fell out of touch in the early 00s. Just got my own place recently and been able to play my own sounds again. Came back from the afternoon at the pub today and played Thick as a Brick at full vol. WHAT A GREAT RECORD!! Still going through me now.
So much great music of theirs I've got to play again....its like being re-born!

It's called Tullitus - it's a strange thing because in some cases, like you say, it can lie low and resurface when least expected but thankfully it never truly leaves ! Have fun going through the Forum and look forward to your posts!
